Yes, Finally!

Finally I’ve got access to the Internet from my apartment room even though I have only a single bar for my wireless signal. I have taken my landlord nearly a week to bring the signal up to my room. So far it seems to be working good. The link to Australia is around 140ms (through VNPT). That isn’t bad comparing to other IXP which would be around 240+ms.

My Bike

I bought a motorbike on the weekend. A Honda Wave S 100cc bike. I thought buying this will help me reduce my taxi bill but though it seems I won’t be able to take advantage of it much much as it’s been raining almost everyday. When it doesn’t rain, it’s really hot so I will probably ended up in the taxi anyway.

Lately I have been riding the bike at night as it’s cooler and the air is (probably) cleaner. The pollution is extreme. People ride around with mask on. The traffic congestion is also very bad.

To another matter, my landlord is installing the Internet for my apartment today. They have problem getting wifi signal to my room because the brick wall is so thick. But this morning I have found previously undetectable wifi signal from the building across the road. Had I received this signal before, I wouldn’t have to get my landlord to sign up for the Internet for me of which I’m having problem receiving signal.
